Faster Way to Fat Loss

You guys, I want you to be successful in your health goals. I am so passionate about it and love talking to people about their fitness goals! I want you to not waste time feeling hopeless or overwhelmed.

I know how frustrating this can be to keep working at it and nothing changes. I’ve done the whole under eating thing to just see a number on the scale and I was HUNGRY!!! The scale does not define who we are.

What is the #1 problem with most plans is NUTRITION. It’s the most important part of being successful. And when I say this, I mean healthy, like blood pressure, hormones, gut health, etc. On the outside, FAT LOSS, confidence and to feel good in those clothes that are laying there unworn.

What’s the solution? The FASTer Way to Fat Loss! It’s designed to give you the nutrition to lose FAT and workouts paired with that nutrition to get you to your best self. If you want to do just the nutrition that’s ok, it is the most important thing!!!

Guess what? I want to invite you to join the next 7-week round of the FASTer Way to Fat Loss with the first week for prep and followed by 6-weeks of support and accountability the whole time.

Make sure you use MY LINK below so I can help with support, accountability and be there to answer all your questions. I am now becoming certified as a coach and will be running my own rounds soon! Click the link below for information and to register.

FASTer Way With Cindy

My name is Cindy Ward. I am a mom of two grown daughters, a four-year stroke survivor, runner, and FASTer Way to Fat Loss Certified Coach. I am passionate about helping people reach their nutritional, health and wellness goals through sustainable lifestyle changes.  I love helping women to transform their lives.  I have been doing the FASTer Way for a 16 months. To date, I have lost 30 inches and 20 lbs, decreased my inflammation, went off my stomach meds for GERD and am going off one of my anxiety drugs and leaned out as a runner even when training for half marathons, which I did three last year!

I have been married to my husband for 26 years. Dave is a Farmer and works hard for our family.  Our daughter, Chelby is 24 years old and graduated in December 2018 with a elementary ed and special education teaching degree. Paige is 21 and graduated in May  with a dental hygiene degree.  And of course, I can’t forget about our four fur babies.

My husband and I are now empty nesters and it’s life changing.  I love to run, read, learn all things about health and fitness related things, and enjoy time with family.

Winter Run St.Paul, Minnesota

My sister and I talked about running a race every month in 2019! Well we went for it and signed up for a January race!  The Securian Financial Winter Run.  Dressed for it with balaclava, wool socks, hat, gloves, infrared pants, cold gear tops and jackets we were ready.  It was cold at -2 and a light snow, but once we were out there we didn’t even notice except for our frozen toes.  Our first January run turned into being a great race. I think we’d do it again.

After, we enjoyed some Starbucks and the St. Paul Winter Carnivel, as well as seeing some great ice sculpting that was going on. It’s amazing what they can do with ice. My nephew was our chauffeur for the day.  We had Chick-fil-A my first time and I guess I’d give it a ok review. Then off to Trader Joe’s, as we don’t have one of those here in Wahpeton, ND, I’d say it reminds me of Natural Grocers but on a bigger scale. Next we hit up a great wine store, I’m sure you’ll all do that, right? Out for supper with my nephew and his girlfriend, they were such great hosts.  Thank You!

The next morning we woke to weather news that we were in a winter storm back home so pack and get ready to head out to make it home before it hits.  Our hosts served a great breakfast before we left which we appreciated very much.  Of course we had to stop off at the outlet mall, who can let a good deal go by.  I did refrain from hitting all the stores but did pick up a new long columbia coat and hat, which I’m glad I did as it is -30 as I write this.  We made it home just as the storm hit and now the temperatures are plummeting for the next few days.

Now to find a race for February!! Stay tuned for the next race post.

Faster Way to Fat Loss

December 31, 2018

I hope you had a Merry Christmas!  It was a busy one with two families to visit and taking off on a vacation to Florida on the Wednesday after Christmas. But it was a great year and lots of memories made!!

I used to not like January. I love making goals, getting inspired and dreaming about change and all the great things the next year could bring.

The part I hate is that it’s cold, dark, and dreary and all the parties and family just stop.  December is always a year of celebrating and letting loose a little bit. Then January comes and we stop and begin extreme workouts, diets and have no more fun! It’s to much pressure to think that you’ll transform your life in one month or one day.  It only sets us up for failure.

If you have a goal to lose weight or eat healthy.  Don’t give up everything at once that will for sure end up in failure. I’ve done it and it never seems to work. Don’t buy into those crash diets or products that promise it all.

I’ve found the one that has worked for me and tens of thousands of women and men also lose the weight and live a healthy lifestyle for good. I no longer make the new year resolution to lose the pounds or diet.  The program FASTer Way to Fat Loss is where it is at.  We stress that it’s progress over perfection.  Read my other blog posts and check out the links to find out more about this wonderful program and how it has helped them all.  Then consider joining all of us in the NEW YEAR! I’ll keep you posted on the next available dates.

IMG_4790Remember the ‘ME’ in merry:  Self-care strategies for this holiday season

The holiday season is filled with hustle and bustle.  There’s plenty of excitement from seeing family and friends, but also stress, travel, long lines, planning, preparation and a range of emotions from positive to negative.

For many of us, the holiday season means planning and taking care of others. However, this leaves little time for taking care of oneself. Below are a few ideas on how to practice self-care during this holiday season.

  • Regularly schedule time to engage in self-care activities.  Maybe exercise, meditation or a hobby you enjoy.
  • Practice gratitude for the people and events in your life.  Maybe journal about what you appreciate in life or who you appreciate.
  • Engage in deep breathing or other relaxation skills. Maybe relaxing music or yoga.
  • Tune into the emotions you are experiencing. Emotions can be positive, negative or a combination of both. Call a time out and check your feelings.
  • Try to understand why you might be experiencing negative emotions. For some people, negative emotions might be related to unrealistic expectations or goals of themselves around the holidays, or from feeling overwhelmed.
  • Monitor you stress level. Take note of the situation you are in when feeling stressed. Is it around certain people? Or engaging in specific activities?

Take care of your physical health. Ensure adequate sleep and a nutritious diet. Develop a plan to enjoy the special food and treats around the holidays, it’s balance.

So, enjoy the holidays and remember to take time to care for your own needs and emotions. Remember, as the flight attendants say as part of their safety preparations, you need to put on your own oxygen mask first before helping others. This may help you more fully appreciate and find meaning this holiday season.
